Common questions.

What is the Alcova app?

The Alcova app brings your meeting workflow to iPhone and iPad. It captures and transcribes in-person client meetings, turns them into structured notes and action items, and lets you review briefings and notes on the go. Everything syncs securely with your Alcova workspace.

How do I get started?

Download Alcova from the App Store and sign in with the same email and password you use for Alcova on the web (operator.alcova.ai). If your firm has not set up your account yet, ask your workspace administrator or email care@alcova.ai and we will help you get access.

I cannot sign in. What should I do?

Confirm you are using the same credentials as your Alcova web workspace, check your internet connection, and make sure you are on the latest version from the App Store. Force-quit and reopen the app, then try again. If you are still stuck, email care@alcova.ai and we will get you back in.

The app will not record my meeting.

Alcova needs microphone access to capture meetings. Open the iOS Settings app, find Alcova, and make sure Microphone is enabled. Keep the app in the foreground while recording and stay on a stable connection. If a recording still fails, email care@alcova.ai with your device and iOS version and we will investigate — notes already synced to your workspace are never lost.

The app crashed or is behaving unexpectedly.

Update to the latest version from the App Store, then force-quit and reopen the app. If the problem continues, email care@alcova.ai or message your shared Slack channel with your device model, iOS version, app version and a short description of what happened. Screenshots or a screen recording help us resolve it faster.

Is my data secure and private?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256), stored at rest in Australia, and never used to train AI models. You can read the full detail on Security.

How much does the app cost?

The iOS app is included with your Alcova Meetings subscription — there is no separate charge for iPhone or iPad. Billing is handled at the workspace level. See pricing or email care@alcova.ai for any billing questions.

Which devices are supported?

Alcova runs on iPhone and iPad on recent versions of iOS and iPadOS. For the best experience, keep both your device and the app up to date.

How do I share feedback or request a feature?

We would love to hear from you. Email care@alcova.ai or drop a note in your shared Slack channel — feedback from advisers directly shapes what we build next.

Account and data

Managing your account and data.

Your Alcova account is part of your firm’s workspace. To update your details, request a copy of your data, or close your account, email care@alcova.ai or contact your workspace administrator. You can also message your shared Slack channel and we will take care of it.

When an account is closed, we make your data available for export for thirty (30) days before it is permanently deleted, as described in our Terms of Service. For the full picture of how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.

Need help disconnecting a calendar or email integration? You can revoke access at any time from your account settings or directly with your workspace provider — and we are happy to walk you through it.
